Hello! My name is Heddwyn Kaleo Alocin [pronounced: HETH-win ka-LAY-oh AH-loh-keen]. Perhaps obviously, this is not my legal name, but rather a name I have given myself. Heddwyn is Welsh, and means something like “blessed peace” (from hedd, peace, and gwyn, fair/white/blessed). Kaleo is Hawaiin for sound. Alocin creates a palindrome with my middle name, Nicolas, meaning “savior of the people”.
This blog will be a place for me to mull over topics that interest me, write about my life, and share my music with the world.
