So, apparently I pulled my latissimus dorsi muscle. Which is why I’ve had so much pain in my left side over the past few days. Fun. NOT! At least it is not, as I was worried, my spleen. That would have been worse.

In other news of my life, my girlfriend’s sister got married yesterday, which was cool. I played my flute at the ceremony, and (I think) did fairly well. At least, people liked it There was lots of dancing (contradance style) which was cool — though since a lot of people didn’t know how to contradance, the dances were fairly simplistic. I danced almost every single dance, which was awesome — though not for my poor latissimus dorsi (swinging hurt).

In other cool news, I figured out what I’m going to make for my girlfriend for our 2 year anniversary next Sunday (so exciting). I’ve learned a new way of braiding leather thongs, and I’m making a bracelet with this cool dragonfly emblem on it. I’ll have to put a picture up someday.

The youth orchestra starts rehearsals for our winter concert today. I really hope I get a principal part this time. That would be cool.
